The Bold and the Bingle

We might not all be tuned into her reality tv show, but there's no denying, Lara Bingle channels instant coolness with her rock chic street attire and funky lob hairstyle.

My tribute to her today features the rebirth of my own lob, my favourite Rays and a cute little Parisian t-shirt that I found in Target (believe it or not!) Feeling like a fresh queen of cool and exuding attitude is what I do best!

Spring Queen

Getting into the swing of Spring has never been so effortless with Fashion Society's Daffodil Runway Event. With a daffodil and floral inspired theme, I channelled a sunshine kid ensemble to celebrate a very feminine occassion.

Accompanying me is my group of A grade Fashionistas, from left to right; Jodie, Miranda, Jai and Emily. All fashion enthusiasts with individual style, we gather together to appreciate the undeniable talent of local, up and coming designers... and from front row, reserved seats! We're VIP- learn your acronyms!

The new/old hat-trick!

As any Brisbanite will tell you, the Exhibition Wednesday Races is one spectacular event to mark on your social calendar. Each year brings with it a flourish of colours; pastels, neons, neutrals and even classic black never goes astray. However, my fascination always lies in the headwear that is presented and this year was all about diversity. There were floral headpieces, lacy fascinators, feathers and to my astonishment even a bird made the perfect accessory to a classy number. With our new Sydney slicker Jai in tow, the three of us made a day of drinking champagne, discussing fashion don'ts and embracing any opportunity to meet potential cuties. Here is a storyboard of our classy Wednesday.
It all started with Champagne...
and at some stage there was dancing....
ending with a kiss...
Kisses to my lady friends and followers alike,

Harry Potter Alliance: Chapter 1, Yule Ball

Returning to University has brought many new adventures to my life, with one so magical as joining the UQ Harry Potter Alliance. Yes, deep inside of this platinum head is a little geeky girl who simply loves anything Harry Potter-esque! Friday night I attended the first social event of the season being the HPA's Yule Ball. There were wands, and cloaks, and even a caged Hedwig who enjoyed the evening with the rest of us Wizards. While sadly I cannot produce any animated photographs, here are some snaps of the nights frivolities!

Kiss and Make.Up

When it comes to beauty trends, I've done the rounds. Embarrassing to admit, but that person you see spending hours in Myer, trying on the makeup testers...thats usually me. But after hours of what I like to call "researching", I find I always return to the one brand that makes my skin glow, Napoleon Perdis.
Inside my makeup bag you'll find....
Napoleon Perdis

My favourite products have to include:
The Foundation Stick; offering minimum to maximum coverage, its application is simple and long-lasting, providing the perfect base.

The Camera Finish Powder, which brushes smoothly onto skin and provides that perfect matte finish (essential for those sneaky style snaps!)

Both Miranda and I are Napoleon Perdis enthusiasts. We are always photo ready!
