It's all in a handshake!

Someone once told me that a perception of a person can be deduced upon engaging in a simple handshake. It is for that very reason that I always make sure my hands are well groomed and blinged up to embrace my potential prince charming! Hehe. My dear friend Kimmy and I recently had our nails groomed by our personal friend Sunmi! Didn't she do a great job?!

Kimmy's nails look even more dynamic in person!

I've also been meaning to show off my new Pandora gems! For months now I have been desperate to start creating a ring stack. All from Pandora except for the interlocking ring which was from Wallace Bishop.

Tell me what you think bebe's as I'm only a comment away!

Two looks for the kill of $100

Hi everyone!

Wow. This weekend has been a very busy one in terms of social outings, which means I have new outfits to show you and deconstruct. Movies, a dinner date and a Sunday sesh at the fox has left me feeling refreshed and hungry for more chances to dress up, and let my hair down! While my ex has jumped into another relationship, quicker then it took him to strip the sheets, my foremost love are my friends and fashion....and boy, have I been enjoying fashion seeking lately...

In these two outfit posts below you will see my two new purchases. Would you believe when added together, both these dresses came to less than $100? I kid you not; the yellow animal print number was on the clearance rack at
Sportsgirl for only $29…a complete steal! The other, is a Quirky Circus dress from Myer which was only $50. Which dress do you prefer bloggers???

Affordable fashion with Sophie McCallum

Good afternoon my fashion fierce friends!

Meet my younger sister Sophie! Sophie became my latest subject for a styling session today as she heads off for uni. Given the permission to go into her closet, I picked out some hot little gems, and the best part is...totally affordable. Sophie is not phased by high fashion labels or current trends and really loves to pave her own fashion path. She describes her personal style as "casual, unique and classic". This season Sophie is on the lookout for chiffon shirts, floaty dresses and white maxi's.

Can you guess where Sophie's look came from?

A little work...

a little play!

Stella McCartney: fashion queen extraordinaire!

For a while now I've really admired the work of innovative London designer, Stella McCartney. Her 2012 Spring collection features all the current trends; colour blocking, floral patterns, cropped trousers etc, however Stella has an unique way of combining girly with edgy undertones.

I stumbled across some pictures from Stella's 2012 Secret Garden Party. Not only do the clothes look super cute, but the Alice and Wonderland inspired location looks completely magical. This party is definitely one I would fall down the rabbit hole for! You can check out more of Stella's 2012 Spring lookbook here.

Stella's Las Vegas Store...*sigh*

One of my favourites from my own personal wardrobe has to be my Stella McCartney pants which I bought from Myer. Comfortable, classy and completely fabulous- these leg hugging lovelies always get noticed.

Pants: Stella McCartney
Bodysuit: Anise from Universal
Jacket: Forever21
Earrings: Adorne
Bracelets: Diva
Watch: Guess
Clutch: Corelli

Dressed up in Love...

After a week's worth of planning my dream outfit for Saturday night's celebrations, I changed my outfit at the last minute! I have never been one to plan an outfit around my accessories but it goes to show that it can be done. From the start my heart was set on wearing the beautiful costume jewellery pieces I had recently acquired...

Headband: Dune
Jewelled Bow Cuff: Adorne
Earrings and Ring: Adorne
3 Piece bangle set: Diva

My favourite accessory has to be the cuff! Check out more gorgeous Adorne pieces here.

Which matched perfectly with the shoes...

And finally...

The dress: a Wayne Cooper number so rich and exquisite in quality. The colour, so feminine and chic enhanced by the gunmetal greys of my accessories.

Lastly, what would an outfit be without being dressed up in love with beautiful people?!

The birthday boy himself, my dear friend Adam.

Sweet Dreams Songbird!

While I've said it before in a previous blog, my alter ego, Professor Barbie directly relates to my occupation, as I am a secondary drama and music teacher. After finishing early on my last day of term, I have sat at my piano and recorded myself singing and playing my own arrangement of Queen Beyonce's Sweet Dreams. I really hope you bloggers will be completely honest and provide some comments/feedback for me and I am happy to receive any recommendations of songs you’d like me to cover in the future. Enjoy

I have also included the original as well, so you can hear(if you do not already know)how B does it!

Beauty routine to boot!!!

I have a specfic beauty routine that I go through in the last 48 hours leading up to a special night out. They are....

1. Exfoliate and wax every visible bodypart.. Yesterday not only did I have my legs waxed, but I enjoyed an eye special. My manicured brows are a direct result of a wax and tint by West Avenue Beauty in Manly.

2. Indulge in a little bronzing...My spray tan is a heavenly deep mocha colour which works with any outfit!

3. Purify the platinum... after a fresh toner, my platinum locks look clean and fresh!

4. Pamper those precious tooties! Chipped nail polish is just naff, make sure those toes have a fresh new colour which compliaments your outfit.

5. Pump up the jams! I'll always have a brand new playlist with the top pop tracks to really get me in the mood while I get my face and hair on! I have included the audio of one of my favourite tracks! Enjoy bebe's!!

Always a bridesmaid....

Last year, my nearest and dearest friend Lucy got married to her beau of 5 ish years, Daniel. They had a spectacular vintage/antique themed wedding. I had the honour of being included in the bridal party, first time yet! Her photographer, the artistic Miriam Ackroyd of Wildflower Images captured the very essence of beauty in these breathtaking stills. Let me know what you think my stylish friends!!

My personal favourite...
